Louie
Pearlman

Louie Pearlman was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta,
Canada and attended the University
of British Columbia where he majored in Film and Television Studies.
He discovered a love of
improv at fifteen at Buck's Rock Camp in New Milford, Connecticut and
has been doing it
since. Louie was one of the original members of the UBC Improv Theater
Society in Vancouver
and started his more formal training at The Upright Citizens Brigade
Theater after moving to
New York in 2002. Since then he's had the pleasure of learning from
Armando Diaz, Amy
Poehler, Ian Roberts, Billy Merritt, Julie Brister and others.
With Tuscadero members Tiffany Morningstar and Zach Tabacco, Louie is
part of the sketch
group Father Danger. Louie also performs two man improv with his friend
Griffin Newman
in a show called Louie and Griffin: LIVE! and is also part of New York's
only all gay improv
ensemble, Feathers and Flannel, who have enjoyed performances at The
PIT and the UCB
Theater. Louie has directed a few short films, but not for a few years
and feels like it's
time to pick up the camera again. He also has recently started playing
the ukulele. Some
of his friends think he's pretty good.
